BVMAC History
BVMAC is a stock market common to the six (6) countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) represented by Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic and Chad. It was created on June 27, 2003 in Libreville and its mission is to finance the economies of the CEMAC countries.

At the request of the countries of the Sub-Region, BEAC's Board of Directors commissioned BEAC to create BVMAC.
- 1999
June
End of the feasibility study demonstrating the viability of the project to create a Regional Stock Exchange.

Designation of Libreville to host the BVMAC headquarters at the N'Djamena Conference.

Nomination of the President of COSUMAF and choice of Libreville as the city hosting the seat of the supervisory body and the Stock Market.

CEMAC-UMAC Regulation on the organisation, operation and supervision of the Central African Financial Market.

Holding the CAP6 Regional Forum on the integration and economic development of the CEMAC sub-region. This forum was held and hosted by BVMAC in partnership with the Gabonese and Congolese Ministries in charge of Regional Integration. Personalities from business, high finance and the political world and actively participated in this Forum.

Decision of the Conference of Heads of State at its extraordinary session of October 31, 2017 in N'Djamena, to set the headquarters of the Regional Financial Market Regulator in Libreville and that of the Regional Stock Exchange in Douala.
Designation of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) as Central Depository. - 2018
